Mission Possible

We Didn't Set Out To Make a Dog Toy. We Set Out To Fix a Broken Interaction Between Humans And Their Dogs.

Gnawty dogs and puppies bite.
Hands get shredded.
Most dog toys are made to be destroyed.
4.5 million Americans suffer from dog bites a year.
Most training tools are built to create distance.

We didn’t want either. We wanted a better, more natural way to play together.

A Dog Trainer's Idea

What if a tool is tough enough it could take a dog bite for you and last the life of a dog?
What if dog play could redirect behavior instead of stopping it?
What if dog training didn’t feel like dog training at all?
What if this tool disguised as a dog toy could mimic how dogs learn in nature through play?

That idea became NeverBite™ from Chewy Chums™.

We called it NeverBite™ for two reasons:

1. It’s built to protect us.

Its construction is designed to shield your hands from accidental bites during play and training—especially with mouthy pups.

2. It teaches them.

By giving dogs and puppies a better, more engaging place to bite, they naturally stop going after exposed hands.
With repetition and your guidance, they learn where biting is appropriate—and where it’s not.
So this isn’t about stopping play. It’s about redirecting it in a safer, more natural way.

Added Value: It’s built to last the life of your dog. That's our promise.

If used as intended, it becomes a long-term part of how you and your dog play together, not something you throw away and replace

That value difference matters.

Safe for kids ages 10+

Recommended for dogs up to 60 lbs.

In Their Words

  • Rob & Rook

He wasn't even in the mood for playtime. Took Rook 5 min before he engaged with the toy after getting familiar with it.

  • Joe & Louie

Hundreds of dollars wasted. Louie destroyed every dog toy I got him, except this one. Durable and well built.

  • Maria & Mylee

Finally, a dog toy that protects my kids' hands from my teething puppy’! Highly recommend it. Thank you for this.

  • Vince & Bo

The T-Rex puppet survived years of rough play with our late Bogart. It outlasted him and it only lost a couple of teeth.

  • Doria & Birthday

As a product, let me spell it out for you:

I spend approximately $60 per month on dog toys. We get the Chewy Subscriptions (those ones are fine, though recently I've been beefing with this one carrot that smells horrible, like smoked meat and plastic), but I've also tried essentially every toy out there for tugging, tossing, chewing, and playing, and my dog has yet to keep one in tact for longer than 2-ish days.

As a brand, I think the integration of training, quality care (for dogs, parents, and material sourcing), and playtime is as critical for owners as it is for the pups themselves. There aren't many brands that approach a dog toy from all these angles, and it's nuanced (but necessary).

  • Our Local Vet

This is a value toy. I highly endorse it for teething puppy owners. Really well designed and built.

  • Dog Handler

With my past experience volunteering at our local animal shelter, I realize the need for assistance in training your dog. It is a very unique product. It can be added as a tool for training and teaching not only the dog but the owner and families of the dog.

  • Dog Trainer

I would emphasize the unique value of the product and its purpose. It is a high value toy that is designed to train your dog through positive redirection. It is a deterrent from puppy bites and dog play bites that helps create a safe way for the dog owner and children to interact with the dog. I would say we have all had our dogs teeth hurt our hands at one point or another when playing with them, this helps us as humans play without the fear of getting hurt by their teeth.
